Are you interested in British history or law enforcement history? This vintage British Bobby Police Helmet, size ?” is the perfect gift to someone you care for or for yourself. It has a chrome comb and chrome West Suffolk Constabulary helmet plate. There are rosettes on either side and a cloth band and a single vent on the top. Inside it has a leather sweat band which is not stamped . The conical shaped outside is either Black felt or a serge-like material. The brim is trimmed with plastic, features a leather adjustable sweatband, & a leather chin strap cup. It measures approx. 9.5" tall to the top vent Metal Crest. The two piece 3" tall Silver Metal Badge Plate has a Silver Front. It says "West Suffolk Constabulary", a crown on top and a crest in the center.
