The Universal Audio Solo/610 Tube Preamplifier and DI brings the classic 610 console sound to a single-channel, portable format with mic, line, and instrument paths that range from clean to confidently saturated. The front end is simple by design. A stepped Gain control drives the tube input stage while a continuously variable Level sets output, so you can hit gentle harmonic lift for vocals or push the circuit for thicker bass and guitars without clipping your converters.

Connectivity covers typical studio and stage use. The mic input accepts dynamics, ribbons, and condensers, with 48 V phantom power on tap when required. A front-panel high-impedance DI lets you plug guitar, bass, or keyboards directly into the tube path, with a dedicated thru to feed an amp if you want to reamp or capture both signals. Balanced line outputs interface cleanly with interfaces and recorders.

Source matching is handled with practical switches. Selectable input impedance optimizes tone and transient response for a wide range of microphones and instruments. A pad provides extra headroom for hot sources. Phase reverse keeps multi-mic setups coherent when placements get creative. High and low cut options shape the spectrum before it ever hits the DAW, which reduces downstream EQ chores and keeps noise floors friendly.

Operation is tactile and repeatable. Large knobs and clear status indicators make it obvious where gain staging sits, and the gain-into-level architecture behaves predictably for recalling vocal chains, bass DIs, and acoustic instruments. The circuit topology remains faithful to the 610 lineage that defined many classic recordings, which is the point. It delivers tube warmth that stays controlled, not fizzy, and it keeps transients intact when set conservatively.

Universal Audio Solo/610 Tube Preamplifier and DI is a straightforward way to add a tube front end and musical DI to modern rigs. It integrates with interfaces of any brand, captures a finished-feeling vocal or bass at the source, and does it with the reliability that engineers expect from the 610 name.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
