When to Replace

Installation Tips

• Disconnect all electrical power to the appliance before installation.
• Safely discharge the old capacitor by shorting the terminals with a resistor or insulated screwdriver.
• Ensure the new capacitor's uF (MFD) rating matches the original specification exactly.
• Using a capacitor with an equal or higher VAC rating is acceptable. Do not use one with a lower VAC rating.
