The StingRay 5 Special boasts a comfortably contoured double-cutaway body. Its ergonomic design ensures a snug fit against a user's body for fatigue-free playing. Its neck is a dream for bassists who love speed and precision, constructed from roasted maple. It's topped with a rosewood fingerboard that features a comfortable 11-inch radius, and twenty-two High-Wide frets.
A single humbucking pickup with neodymium magnets is responsible for the tonal element of this all-star bass. These magnets deliver a focused and punchy tone, powered by an 18-volt three-band active EQ preamp that allows an immense amount of tonal control.
