Feeding Recommendations
- Wean calves off milk gradually at a minimum of 6 weeks of age and 65-85kg depending on the calf size and breed. Continue to feed SealesWinslow calf feed for 1-2 months after weaning off milk.
- Offer fresh pellets daily. If fed in troughs, clean these out frequently.
- Ensure calves always have unlimited clean drinking water and roughage (hay or straw), especially when housed or grazing is limited or very leafy.
- May be used for older calves experiencing a feed pinch if coccidiosis is a concern.
- Introduce gradually if calves are not eating grain-based feed at the time of introduction.
