With its color changing 4 to 5-inch double flowers atop the lush deep green foliage, this makes an excellent specimen in the yard, also it's attractiveness to bees and butterflies make it a great addition to the butterfly garden. Plant this deciduous shrub in full sun to part shade, in well-drained, rich soil. Bloom time is summer through fall. Hardy in zones 7-10.  Can be grown in a container for a sunny patio or balcony and brought inside to a sunny window.
