Description:
Desicorr® VpCI® is a specially designed, two-sided pouch containing a unique combination of desiccant and Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI®) Technology. Desicorr® VpCI® Pouches are ideal for protecting packaged ferrous and non-ferrous metals from corrosion for up to two years. Unlike conventional desiccants, the dual function of the Desicorr® VpCI® Pouches reduces moisture in the air (desiccant action) and provides rust protection (VpCI® action) within a package. The desiccant action allows the VpCI® to have free access to the surface of the metal, without competition from moisture on the metal surface.

Protection:
Desicorr® VpCI® windowed pouched are provided in two sizes: 1/6 unit size pouch protects 1 ft3 (28 L) of volume; 1 unit size pouch protects 5 ft3 (140 L).

Size:
Desicorr® VpCI® 1/6 unit pouch measures 2.75"x2.75"x0.25". Desicorr® VpCI® 1 unit pouch measures 7"x4"x0.5". Sold in carton or drum of 300 units. Also available in Non-Windowed (NW) version.

How to Use:
To apply, manually or automatically insert a Desicorr® VpCI® Pouch into the space needing protection. Then close or seal the container. Pouches must be used immediately after removing from barrier bag, and the barrier bag must be resealed immediately after removing pouches.

Typical Applications:
Desicorr® VpCI® is designed to protect products, components, or assemblies when packaged in corrugated boxes, plastic wrap or bags, and wood or metal containers. Successful usages include: completed assemblies, parts, components, motors, mechanical controls, precision machines or stamped parts, marine and commercial electronic equipment and tools.
Protects aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, galvanized steel, silicon steel and solder from corrosion.
