Popsensatie Froukje heeft er de afgelopen tijd met hart en ziel aan gewerkt en nu is het moment eindelijk daar: op 12 januari 2024 brengt ze haar langverwachte debuutalbum 'Noodzakelijk Verdriet' uit. Op het album staan onder meer de tracks 'Als Ik God Was', 'Naar Het Licht' en de nieuwe single 'Houden Van Mij'. Die laatste verschijnt op 27 oktober. Froukje Veenstra is de afgelopen drie jaar als een komeet gegaan.

Ze is pas 18 jaar als ze zich begin 2020 met haar single 'Groter Dan Ik' in één klap profileert als een van de nieuwe beloften van de Nederlandse alternatieve pop. Vanaf dat moment is haar ster rijzende en inmiddels heeft ze twee Edisons (voor de EP's 'Licht en Donker' en 'Uitzinnig'), twee keer 3voor12 Song van het Jaar (voor de single 'Ik Wil Dansen' en 'Zonder Gezicht' met S10), twee 3FM Awards (voor Beste Nieuwkomer en Beste Artiest) en een Zilveren Notenkraker op haar naam staan. Ook stond ze op de hoofdpodia van onder andere Lowlands, Down The Rabbit Hole, Rock Werchter en Pukkelpop.

Howdy y’all, the only reason I’m doing a four star review is to keep it real. The only annoying thing with the adapter when you plug it in kind of flops goes all over the place, but that is easily remedied by how useful it is. I’ve worked at Best Buy. I study software. I like my tech to be reliable and last, this adapter has not disappointed me the last almost 4 years now! It looks the same as pictured, maybe a couple scratches now but it has held up incredibly well. I initially got so I can connect my monitor and my mouse to my MacBook Pro and that continues to be my main use for it. I’ve discovered it also works great at connecting to my iPad Air for extending the screen, mirroring, or using my mouse. It also works great for transferring data to other USB-C compatible devices like a Samsung phone! This thing has been reliable, I’ve used it to connect to external storage drives, SD cards, microSD cards. I keep finding new uses for it. It practically lives in my work bag all the time now. Also, I’ve only had it get somewhat warm like probably 2-3 times in my entire time of using it. The reason I come back to review after all these years is my younger sibling asked if they could have my adapter and I’ve never felt so firmly in saying absolutely not. I’m grateful that you can still buy this because a lot of things I’ve purchased on Amazon haven’t lasted. When you find something good like this, especially in this day where things are built to break, you can’t help but appreciate the things that are reliable and consistent.
