Onder de constante dreiging van branden veroorzaakt door Onibi, moet elk seizoen strategieën gebruiken om als eerste één van de vier overwinningsvoorwaarden te behalen en zo het bos te redden…
 
Het bos is opnieuw in gevaar. Gelukkig zijn ‘Zomer’ en ‘Winter’ er om het bos te verdedigen en te beschermen, met de waardevolle hulp van de beschermdieren.
In Living Forest Duel kruipen twee spelers in de geest van zomer en winter. Ze nemen het tegen elkaar op en willen beide erkend worden als ultieme beschermer van het heilige bos. Hoewel hun doelen vergelijkbaar zijn, zal slechts één seizoen de eer opeisen, dus plan je strategieën zorgvuldig.
 
Elke speler moet als eerste één van de vier overwinningsvoorwaarden behalen om het spel te winnen:

  1. Creëer een harmonieus bos: plant een rechthoek van 3×3 beschermboomkaarten in je bos.
  2. Domineer de rekruteringslijn: zorg dat er alleen kaarten van jouw seizoen op de rekruteringslijn liggen.
  3. Doof de vernietigende vlammen: verzamel 7 vuurfiches om het bos te beschermen tegen de verwoesting van de Onibi's.
  4. Onibi afweren: verplaats het Onibi-personnage naar de kant van je tegenstander zodra de Onibi-kaart in hun bezit is.
