Solas is de nieuwste serie wijnen, waarmee Laurent Miquel de grote kwalitatieve mogelijkheden van Zuid-Frankrijk wil laten zien. Solas betekent licht in het Iers en in het Oud Frans betekent het; vreugde, plezier en genieten. Neasa, de vrouw van Laurent en ook werkzaam bij het familiebedrijf is namelijk Iers. Zij hebben deze serie unieke wijnen gemaakt van hun favoriete druivensoorten. De getalenteerde eigenaar en wijnmaker Laurent Miquel timmert met groot succes aan de weg en ontving al veel lof en bekroningen met zijn wijnen. Het wijnhuis is gelegen in het wijngebied Saint-Chinian en ligt in de Languedoc ten noordoosten van de stad Beziers. De wijngaarden van Cazal Viel liggen in het zuidelijke deel op een hoogte van honderd tot tweehonderd meter en beslaan zo'n 140 hectare met een rotsachtige ondergrond van kalk, leem en kiezelsteen.De vinificatie en smaken van Laurent Miquel Solas Pinot Noir
Voor deze Laurent Miquel Solas Pinot Noir worden de druiven in de nacht geoogst om de smaken in de druif te laten. De pre-fermentatie zorgt dat de druiven voor vijf tot zeven dagen gekoeld geweekt worden om de fruitaroma’s te behouden. De vergisting vindt plaats bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur van 25 graden. De Pinot Noir rijpt vervolgens voor zes maanden op eiken houten vaten, hierdoor krijgt hij een heerlijke "bite"! Solas Pinot Noir is een uitgebalanceerde, verfijnde wijn met medium body. In zowel de geur als smaak rijke tonen van rode kers, framboos en zwarte besjes. Drink deze Laurent Miquel Solas Pinot Noir op de juiste temperatuur (16 graden) en je krijgt een weergaloze smaak! Love it!

Exceeded all expectations. Bigger than I imagined it would be, super soft and thick, beautiful color (Linen), and no funky smell at all. It seems very durable. After running my hands all over it, no shedding occurred. I have yet to sit on it myself, though, as my cat claimed it right away - didn't even wait for me to remove the tag! He's been there for hours and I'm thinking I've lost my snuggle buddy, so I bought two more in the smaller size so he can have his own on the bed with me at night. I am so amazed by the quality, feel, and color. I can't believe I almost let other reviews deter me from this purchase. 100% thrilled with this beautiful pelt. Absolutely recommend!
UPDATE:
I received the other 2 purchased. Just as soft, just as thick, consistent color (Linen), no shedding, no smell. They have been in use for several days now without any issues. Love them all - and my snuggle buddy is back! 🥰

It’s wonderful!!

The product is wonderful! You know it is real, coz the smell doesn’t go away. I use it to meditate and cannot how nicely it created the perfect comforting barrier to help elevate my experience. I however want to find alternatives coz I stopped using animal products after turning a vegetarian. The size (it is bigger in person than in the pic) and color(brown) are perfect for what I do and doesn’t need much/any maintenance!
The white however needs a lot of attention and care.I’m sure it would last a decade and the weight is just right too!

Beautiful lux sheepskin, you won't be disappointed!

I just got this today, 2 day delivery. It's a beautiful silver grey 2'x3', no smell, no shedding, super soft and has a luxurious feel. I can't believe it's real and so affordable! I have it draped on an ottoman in front of the couch. I love it and already want to buy a few more for my mid century modern couch and chairs. So chic! Highly recommend!
