Verso Sera Colline Teramane Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOCG is de topwijn van Velenosi, met een eerste oogst in 2017. De druiven voor deze wijn komen uit de eigen wijngaarden van het wijnhuis, gelegen in het district Controguerra, op een hoogte van 260 meter boven zeeniveau. De bodem is medium van textuur met een overvloed aan grind, wat bijdraagt aan de complexiteit van de wijn.

Deze wijn wordt volledig geproduceerd uit Montepulciano-druiven. De druiven worden half oktober met de hand geoogst en zorgvuldig geselecteerd. De vinificatie vindt plaats in kleine, temperatuurgecontroleerde cementtanks, waarbij de maceratie op de schillen ongeveer 28 dagen duurt om maximale smaakextractie te garanderen. Vervolgens rijpt de wijn 10 maanden in grote eikenhouten vaten van 30 hectoliter, wat bijdraagt aan de ontwikkeling van zijn complexe aroma's en smaakprofiel.

De Verso Sera heeft een intense, ondoordringbare robijnrode kleur die de diepte en rijkdom van de wijn weerspiegelt. Het bouquet is intens en complex, met uitgesproken geuren van rijp fruit zoals pruimen, bramen en zwarte bessen. Deze fruitige tonen worden verder verrijkt door specerijen zoals tabak en leer, die typisch zijn voor de Montepulciano-variëteit.

In de mond is de wijn vol en rijk, met soepele, fluweelzachte tannines die een verfijnde structuur en een lange, aanhoudende afdronk bieden. Deze wijn is ideaal voor liefhebbers van krachtige, maar elegante rode wijnen en combineert perfect met rijke vleesgerechten, stoofschotels en gerijpte kazen.
