Met de I Love PA-print, een knipoog naar de klassieke I love-souvenirgrafiek maar dan met het eigen PA-monogram, brengt Palm Angels hier een flinke dosis ironie op een T-shirt. Het stuk is gemaakt van 100% katoenen jersey in een diep zwart dat de witte opdruk maximaal laat opvallen. De snit is bewust oversized, met een ruime val door het lichaam en schouders die net voorbij hun natuurlijke punt vallen, precies het silhouet dat de streetwear-look van het merk definieert. Een ronde crewneck-hals, korte mouwen en een licht gebogen zoom maken het ontwerp af. Het katoen voelt zacht en ademt goed, ook onder een laagje. Geproduceerd in Turkije uit zuiver katoen. Het is die combinatie van oversized snit en knipogende grafiek die dit shirt onderscheidt van een standaard zwart logo-shirt.

Dit shirt is ontworpen als oversized fit, dus het valt bewust ruimer dan je reguliere maat en draagt het mooist wanneer je die ruimte ook wilt. Wie liever dichter op het lichaam draagt kan een maat kleiner nemen om de oversized look in te tomen. Het zuivere katoen heeft geen rek en houdt zijn vorm, al kan het bij een warme was iets krimpen. Was daarom koel en droog op lage temperatuur om de ruime pasvorm te behouden.

Gedragen met een wijde cargobroek, een cap en chunky sneakers wordt dit zwarte shirt het hart van een ontspannen streetlook, terwijl losse denim het net wat stoerder maakt. De oversized val zorgt ervoor dat het shirt vanzelf modern aanvoelt.

Als label staat Palm Angels bekend om het versmelten van Amerikaanse skate-iconografie met Italiaanse confectie, een formule die oprichter Francesco Ragazzi tot een vaste waarde in de luxe streetwear maakte. Dat dubbele DNA zie je terug in de combinatie van straatgrafiek en nette afwerking.

And we had some fun plot twists that I didn't expect. I wish we had more of a follow up on the situation with her family her background and her mother who was a wench.
