Hoe kun je je als ambtsdrager voorbereiden op het ambtelijk werk? Welke taken zijn er? Wat wordt er van je verwacht tijdens een ambtelijk bezoek of tijdens de huisbezoeken? Wat gebeurt er tijdens de kerkenraadsvergadering? En hoe moet je omgaan met verschillende pastorale situaties? Het zijn vragen waarmee elke ambtsdrager geconfronteerd wordt.Het dienen in een ambt is een voortreffelijk werk (1 Tim. 3:1), maar iedere ambtsdrager ervaart dat dit werk niet eenvoudig is. We mogen weten dat er bekwaamheid is die Gods Geest schenkt. Niettemin is toerusting voor dit werk belangrijk.
In deze uitgave worden handreikingen gegeven aan diakenen en ouderlingen voor de praktijk van het ambtelijk werk. Naast aandacht voor het huisbezoek zijn er aanwijzingen voor het gesprek in het gezin; rond de sacramenten; bij ziekte en sterven; aandacht voor kinderen en jongeren. Ook wordt aandacht gegeven aan de verschillende aspecten van de kerkenraadsvergadering.

Don't Waste Your Money

This watch is a complete disappointment. Right out from the box, I adjusted the time per the instruction manual. After finshing adjusting the watch, I pushed the crown in (two clicks). The second hand started movement after almost 10 seconds. From then on, the second hand was stopping and going by itself. Within less than anhour, the watch was behind almost 25 seconds. It is a piece of junk. I would not advise anyone to buy this watch.
