De beroemde fluwelen stof van Kentuyk wordt gelamineerd op de EVA die vervolgens onder hoge temperatuur in de hete persvorm wordt gedaan. EVA heeft geweldige schokabsorberende eigenschappen. De EVA-buitenlaag is 35% lichter dan TPU-laarzen.
