Het is zo ontworpen dat je het bijna vergeet te dragen: het kan tot een heel klein formaat worden opgevouwen en past gemakkelijk in een shirtzak of een frametas.

De hoogwaardige winddichte stof beschermt je bovenlichaam tegen afkoeling tijdens afdalingen of plotselinge temperatuurschommelingen, terwijl het de nodige ademende eigenschappen behoudt om het ‘sauna-effect’ tijdens beklimmingen te voorkomen. De nauwsluitende maar comfortabele pasvorm is geschikt voor zowel mountainbiken als gravelrijden.

Is dit jack volledig waterdicht? Nee, het is een winddicht jack met een waterafstotende behandeling. Het beschermt je tegen lichte motregen of opspattend water, maar is niet ontworpen om je droog te houden bij langdurige, hevige regen. Het voordeel is dat het veel beter ademt en compacter is dan een klassiek regenjack.

Is de pasvorm erg strak (Race Fit)?De pasvorm is ‘Relaxed’ maar wel getailleerd. Het is ontworpen om over een fietsshirt of een lichte thermolaag te dragen zonder dat het te veel in de wind gaat wapperen.

Hoe onderhoud je de waterafstotende behandeling? Na meerdere wasbeurten kan het water niet meer van de stof afparelen. We raden aan om af en toe een waterafstotend middel (zoals Nikwax) in sprayvorm of voor in de wasmachine te gebruiken om de DWR-bescherming te reactiveren.

Glowy but not sure about the spf

My first impression was that this works more like a basic body shimmer than anything else. The Glistening Bronze shade gives a noticeable glow, especially on arms and shoulders. It spreads easily and adds a warm shimmer in the light, but the overall effect feels pretty simple and more cosmetic than skincare focused. In use, the oil blends in smoothly and feels lightweight on the skin. It does leave a bit of moisture behind, similar to a light body oil, and the shimmer shows up well outdoors. This Oil Definitely Glitters!

I really wanted to love this shimmer oil, but it's unfortunately not my favorite. I love that it has SPF! That is a big win for me! The oil is also very good at hydrating my skin, which I appreciate. My problem comes with the shimmer of the product. The glitter in it is too big for my liking. With it being called a shimmer oil, I expected tiny glitter that softly shimmers like shimmer powders, lotions, and oils usually do. But this stuff glit-ters! And because it's bigger sized glitter, it's a lot easier to see when it gets all over everything like clothes, furniture, spouses and children. If the shimmering glitter in this was just smaller and softer, I would love this for summer time to use on my legs and arms. But it's unfortunately just not my favorite and I don't think I'll be using it anymore.
