I bought this lamp for my bell tent, which has a center pole. It did exactly what I wanted it to do: provide light to my whole tent instead of depending on a lantern or flashlight. The USB is just for powering the light from an ac source (which is pointless for what I use it for).

It feels cheap and works just okay
This product just feels like it was made on the bottom dollar. It is very cheaply made and the doors to the battery compartment are so fragile it feels like they may snap next time I have to change the batteries.
