The 45" Wide Smythe Craftsman Maplewood Chandel-Air brings Arts and Crafts charm together with modern innovation. Featuring Eggshell Textrene with a Faux Maplewood bottom diffuser, this handcrafted fixture is complemented by a rich Mahogany Bronze finish. Eight inner lights highlight the beauty of the diffuser while four downlights deliver functional illumination below. A fan integrated within the design provides cooling air in the summer and reverses in winter to circulate warm air throughout the room. Poorly made and not good quality. I had high hopes for these sheets because I love the color. However, after only the second laundering the hem stitching on the pillowcases is actually coming undone. Sleep-quality wise, I found the sheets a little scratchy for sateen, and while we’d hoped they would “sleep cool”, that is not the case. Unfortunately I washed them so I’m unable to return. They’ll go to the end of the line for rotation in emergencies only.

Not quite “Hotel” quality
3.5 stars. My initial impressions are the followng: - Definitely not “Hotel” quality construction. I found these a bit thin and poorly stitched/constructed compared to what one would expect of hotel quality linens . - I doubt these are 500tc. They feel very flimsy, if I had to guess based on weight and feel alone I would assume 300tc at best. - Washing does make them softer as is typical with sateen which I would recommend before use as they feel like Polyester right out of the bag. Wash before use. - Color was interesting, not quite as expected. The grey/blue sheets have a seafoam green tint. Not bothersome enough for me to return. - They feel cool to the touch and should keep one comfortable while sleeping. I will update my review if that is not the case. Overall these are good sheets, but they are definitely not great/hotel quality. I’m keeping the ones I got for my children/guest rooms but will return mine as I really do want a higher quality sheet.
