Discover HPE Infrastructure Management Equipment powered by Aruba AirWave, a versatile, on-premises network management system (NMS) purpose-built for enterprise campus environments. Designed for multi-vendor environments, this solution centralizes management of wired, wireless, and remote connectivity, delivering zero-touch provisioning, enhanced client visibility, traffic analysis, and robust reporting. It’s built to scale across large campuses and multi-site deployments while giving IT teams a single, coherent view of network health, security posture, and performance. With on-premises deployment, you retain complete control over data, updates, and operational resilience—even in bandwidth-constrained scenarios. Whether you’re consolidating management across vendor devices, expanding wireless coverage, or troubleshooting complex campus networks, HPE Infrastructure Management Equipment with Aruba AirWave empowers you to deploy faster, reduce downtime, and elevate the user experience across your organization.

  • Multi-Vendor Campus Management: Manage wired switches, wireless access points, controllers, and remote connectivity devices from multiple vendors through a single pane of glass. Aruba AirWave provides consistent policy enforcement, configuration management, and monitoring across a heterogeneous network, eliminating tool sprawl and simplifying governance. Real-time device discovery, topological maps, and customizable dashboards keep network teams aligned, while centralized alerting and role-based access control protect sensitive configurations and data. This unified approach accelerates onboarding, simplifies maintenance, and supports scalable growth as campuses expand across buildings, campuses, and sites.
  • Zero-Touch Provisioning and Onboarding: Speed deployment with automated discovery and provisioning that profiles new devices, applies baseline configurations, and enforces standards from day one. Predefined templates and configuration baselines ensure consistency across devices, reducing human error and manual setup. With zero-touch workflows, IT can pre-stage changes, schedule firmware updates, and push policy updates across the enterprise during maintenance windows. The result is faster rollouts for new buildings, guest networks, and campus expansions, with predictable outcomes and reduced mean time to repair (MTTR).
  • Enhanced Client Visibility and Traffic Analytics: Gain deep insight into user devices, applications, and network behavior. Aruba AirWave collects rich telemetry to deliver granular visibility into who is connected, what applications are in use, and how traffic flows across the campus. Real-time dashboards track client health, signal strength, roaming efficiency, airtime utilization, and interference sources. Detailed traffic analysis helps pinpoint bottlenecks, security anomalies, and performance degradation, enabling proactive optimization, smarter capacity planning, and faster problem resolution—before users notice an issue.
  • Comprehensive Reporting and Compliance: Build a data-driven narrative of network health and performance. AirWave provides extensive reporting capabilities, including customizable dashboards, scheduled reports, and historical analytics. Generate capacity, performance, security, and compliance reports tailored for stakeholders across IT, facilities, and executive teams. Reports can be exported in multiple formats and delivered automatically to the right people, supporting audits, governance, and future planning for network investments and expansions. Policy-based monitoring and alerting ensure critical events surface to appropriate teams in a timely manner.
  • Secure, Scalable On-Premises Deployment: Maintain complete control over data residency, security, and updates with an on-premises deployment model. Designed for reliability, the platform scales from small campuses to large, multi-site deployments, offering high availability, redundancy, and offline operation in network-isolated environments. The architecture supports thousands of devices, robust data storage, and resilient backup options, delivering dependable management even during WAN outages. Built with industry-standard security practices, it integrates with existing identity providers, supports granular RBAC, and provides secure remote administration.

While traveling in Ethiopia as a tourist.

It is a very concrete and well written history of Ethiopia. While traveling in a photo tour I decided I wanted to know more of the contrasting country my shoes were on. I think this short book completes my need to my entire satisfaction

Informative, compact history of rulers, religion and struggles.
Format: Kindle
This book is well written. It filled out my knowledge of Ethiopia, which was mostly that it was isolated from neighbors and most empires. I had heard of biblical contacts, two Italian invasions, civil wars and famines. In this book I learned of contacts with ancient Rome, Byzantium, the Ottomans, and Arabs. Trade carried on the silk road, and by sea. There was influence of Judaism, Islam and competing Christian sects. The sequence of leaders were covered as well as how they came to power. Many conflicts are covered, insurrections and invasions. The Haile Selassie period is covered, as well as his downfall. Then the military period is covered, with communism and factionalism. Finally the recent period is covered,up to the present civil wars of 2022. I would recommend this compact book, for anyone planning a visit, or wanting background knowledge.

A Rough, Rocky Start
Format: Kindle
Modern Africa started after a long rough and rocky start. This book describes the trials each district has had to face to gain their freedom from Europe and what life was like in each district under the control of foreigners. As WWI began, many of Africa's districts were effected, some were forced to supply fighting men, some had their resources used to support the war effort, and some had fighting in their area. When WWII started Africa found that not much had changed. However, as Africa gained its freedom and became self governing internal wars broke out between the different tribes. Well, you will have to read the book to find out how that turned out. This book covers all that and so much more. It all written in an easy to read and understand format that Captivating History is known for and as always they do a great job of explaining everything. This is a great book and recommend you giving it a read.

An Overview of an Oft-Overlooked History
Format: Kindle
Depending on your ethnicity, you may, or may not, know a lot about Africa. This book summarizes the Continent’s history, highlighting the major events and occurrences that contributed its current geopolitical state. Africa today is made up of 54 countries, 2000 languages, 20% of the Earth's land mass, and 1.4 billion people. It therefore should play an important part in the World, today (which it does, but one that rarely makes the headlines in USA TV or newspaper coverage.) The Author covers, Slavery, European Colonization, Africa’s part in World Wars One & Two, and the various Religious histories going back to the time of Christ. Since the author is American, there is a portion devoted to the USA’s main relationships with different African Nations. All this culminates in a surveillance of the numerous African Civil Wars of the last 50 years leading to the reality of the current geopolitical scene. The section on Dictators and Revolutionaries is limited to one of each. I’m guessing there could have been more. Still, if you are looking for an overview of Africa as it is today and what contributed to its present situation, this is an excellent beginning point.
