Mike Tamburo LargeThe MT Large is the only mallet in Mikes line that sports a beefier tapered maple handle (approximately diameter on the bottom end, on the top end). The core is a heavy rubber disc with a slightly rounded contour wrapped in soft layers of thick felt, foam and sherpa. The MT Large mallet is perfect for single stroke playing, allowing you to highlight a range of low and midrange sounds. Excellent for exploring different tonal areas on the instrument.
