Note for 2016 Cruze early production models Prior to 1G1BE5SM9G7235708 with "remote start option" Might have been boosted by dealers from 315 Mhz to 433 Mhz due to range shortage. Before Programming the right key:
1- Remove the trunk floor trim panel and locate the SPID label.
2- Locate RPO – XL7 OR XL8 on the label. Dealers must write XL8 over XL7 If they did the repair.
3- This key CHE-SK-0488 will only work on XL8.
4- Reinstall the trunk floor trim panel.
Refurbished OEM: a used OEM key which has been remanufactured and reset for re-use. All refurbished keys have original electronics, are unlocked and ready for programming. Refurbished keys could have new aftermarket shell/ case with or without logo if the original condition does not meet quality standard. Refurbished keys will also have a new uncut aftermarket blade, when needed.
