It was 5:30 in the morning and the world was still asleep. I ventured out upon the silent streets, heading to the old boats I saw the night before as dusk feel deep and dark, making it unable to photograph them. Yet now as dawn struck, I roamed alone, greeting the slow, older man who picked up plastic cup after cup that people tossed on the ground at the street concert the night before. The sun came up, still cool but bright, giving me just enough light to capture the wonderful contrasting colors and tiny details of this old wooden boat.
