Karva Chauth / Karwa Chauth, one of the Hindu festival, is a fasting ritual observed by all married Hindu women who seek the longevity, prosperity and well-being of their husbands. Karva means clay pot while chauth means fourth. Karwa chauth commemorates the fourth day that follows the full moon in the Kartik month of the Hindu calendar.
