Music for Wood and Strings is the official follow-up to Bryce Dessner's 2013 solo debut Ahyem. But don't call this a solo record. In some ways, this is the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup of new music-the meeting of three great musical entities that sound even better together. ONE: Bryce Dessner composed the piece. Best known as a guitarist and songwriter in The National, he is increasingly renown for his work as a collaborator with artists ranging from Steve Reich to Sufjan Stevens, and as a curator on all-star projects exploring the links between the worlds of composed, folk and indie rock music (i.e. Red Hot's Dark Was The Night, Brassland's recently released compilation MusicNOW: 10 Years, the Barbican's Mountains & Waves festival). TWO: So Percussion performed it. A Brooklyn-based percussion quartet, the group has a decade plus track record as serial collaborators with artists across the indie, electronic and classical music spectrum (i.e. Matmos, Dan Deacon, Pulitzer Prize winning composer David Lang). The New Yorker has praised them for their "exhilarating blend of precision and anarchy, rigor and bedlam." THREE: Aron Sanchez of the duo Buke and Gase built the Chordstick, the original instruments upon which the music was made. These instruments-designed in collaboration with Bryce-are a cross between a hammer dulcimer and an electric guitar, lending the album it's uniquely electrified and various soundscape- pointillist then hazy, distorted then crisp, shifting at will between a hum and a roar and always hypnotic, melodic and engrossing.

chemical exfoliation is better than scrubbing!
Style: Exfoliating 2% AHA, Size: 60 Count (Pack of 1)
I'm maintaining a professional peel with these bad boys and it's working! I love how they create a smooth surface for make-up. Since I've stopped chemical exfoliation these keep my skin texture looking great.

My Makeup Finally Grips Again, These Pads Work
Style: Exfoliating 2% AHA, Size: 60 Count (Pack of 1), Style: Exfoliating 2% AHA, Size: 60 Count (Pack of 1)
My friend recommended the Thayers toner pads because my makeup was having a hard time gripping on my nose and upper cheeks. She told me I needed at least some basic skin prep, and her routine is a cleanser, these toner pads, a moisturizer, and a weekly exfoliator. She said these pads were great , and honestly, wow. They’re a great value for the price. And I love how it’s travel-ish size for when I am running later. The toner pads alone made a huge difference. My makeup finally started gripping so much better. The first time I used them, my buildup was so bad I had to use two pads, front and back. Ever since then, my skin actually enjoys my weekly (sometimes twice‑weekly) exfoliating pads. This brand and combo make my skin look more youthful, brighter, and clean. It’s such an easy step to add, and I even take them on the go when I’m short on time. Thank you, Thayers.

Fantastic tool for dog owners!
Size: 1-pack
This is a great tool to keep your dog active without getting your hands messy! I discovered it launches better when you don't push the ball completely into the holder, but just have it in partially. The ball included is nice and bouncy. The launcher also works with Kong balls.
