For Neil Peart, legendary drummer for Rush, cars were a lifelong passion. Now, in Neil's final work—a never-before-seen piece completed before his untimely passing in 2020—he writes about his beloved Silver Surfers collection; the joy of collecting these exquisite, rare, and important sports cars, and the even bigger joy of driving them. He first traces the roots of his auto obsession, taking us back to where it all began, with a 1969 Lotus Europa; through the cars he bought when the band first made it big and even his first “family car,” before taking us on a tour of the Silver Surfers themselves—a rare collection of the best sports cars from the 1960s. From a 1964 Aston Martin DB5 to a classic 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray, each is a gorgeous silver (with the exception of one: a black 1964 Shelby Cobra whose patina Neil loved so much he wrote, “I am not going to paint it”).

Gorgeous images of the cars and photos curated by Neil himself accompany his warm, personal story of building the collection, the friends he made along the way, and what it was like to be behind the wheel of these classics. Neil’s final work is a love letter to these cars that meant so much to him, and to the passion of the road that fueled his life.

Game Changer
Size: 7pcs Matcha Whisk Set, Color: Light Green
So pretty! The bowl seems a little big? But ive never had a set like this before so im unsure if it is the right size or not. The whisk came with one piece snapped off but it still works just fine. Just worries me about long term use. I am so glad i didn’t spend $50 at the store for one of these sets and just got this one. i love the colors and i leave it sitting out on my counter because it’s so pretty. making matcha has never been easier

Absolutely love this matcha set! The quality is beautiful and it feels very authentic. The whisk works perfectly and makes smooth, frothy matcha every time. The bowl is sturdy and nicely designed. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a relaxing tea experience. Highly recommend!

Good quality. Works fine.

I've never had matcha or made it before, so I looked up how to care for this set and how to use it right. There's a website called "tea is the cup of life" that has a very informative video and article about how everything related to matcha is hand made, etc. And shows what you need to do. The instructions are also on box, but seemed simplified. They're accurate enough to get you started. Based on the time consuming nature of hand making the bamboo stuff, I'd be really surprised if this is actually hand made with them selling the volume they're selling. It's still good quality, just I doubt it's hand made at this price point. The one star off is for two reasons: the whisk is supposed to make the matcha "frothy". It got a little bubbly, but not more than just stirring it with a spoon or a regular little metal whisk does. The second reason is the bamboo has supposedly less static cling for the matcha powder compared to metal spoons, so you don't waste the labor intensive and expensive powder. The matcha powder sticks to both bamboo spoons just as much as it sticks to a metal spoon, but the metal spoon rinsed off into the tea cup 100% and the bamboo still had a little powder in the grain so the spoon needed washed and a little powder was wasted. Is it enough to worry about really? I dunno. But it seems like the purists are really interested in details like that, so I'm mentioning it. Oh yeah, the description says this one is yellow and their images show that yellow green crayon color, which is what I expected to get. It's that more green color. I don't think anyone would call it yellow when they see it in person. The kit works as intended and it is good quality. Since I'm just getting into it for the health benefits of matcha tea and not for the ceremony, I didn't find the processes "meditative" at all. I'll probably just stick to using a regular spoon and whisk in the cup, but if you want to do the whole ceremonial shebang at an affordable price, this kit will do the trick.
