Description: The ZM5-HDG6 kit by ACT features their most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate paired with a 6-pad, spring-centered race disc. ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to enhance clamp load, diminish deflection, and optimize clutch life. Each diaphragm undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process for exceptional performance. Precision cover stampings ensure rigidity and consistency.

ACT's 6-pad, spring-centered race disc incorporates a spring-center to effectively damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions. ACT spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide enhanced spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. While engagement with the 6-pad, spring-centered race disc is harsher, shifting is faster. This disc is particularly recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat.
