Lo Champagne Jacques Selosse Blanc de Blancs Initial è pura espressione di Chardonnay da agricoltura biodinamica. Questo Champagne incarna la filosofia di Anselme Selosse, pioniere e saggio del terroir. L'affinamento di 36 mesi sui lieviti e la fermentazione in barrique con lieviti indigeni creano un'esperienza autentica per gli amanti dello Champagne d'autore.

Uvaggio: Chardonnay 100%.

Affinamento: 36 mesi sui lieviti.

Note degustative: Il colore giallo paglierino brillante e il perlage fine anticipano aromi di agrumi canditi, mela cotogna, nocciola tostata e sentori minerali. Al palato, è fresco, cremoso e sapido, con un finale persistente.

Avize, tra i 6 comuni classificati Grand Cru della Côte des Blancs, è una piccola località ai piedi della Montagne de Reims ed è qui che, nel 1949, Jacques Selosse inizia a produrre Champagne, sin da subito all’insegna della qualità. La svolta però arrivò tra la fine degli anni ’70 e l’inizio degli anni ’80, quando le redini passarono nelle mani di Anselme, figlio di Jacques che iniziò un percorso verso la biodinamica, estendendolo lungo tutti i vigneti di proprietà, 7 ettari totali
