One of the highlights was Chez Mémère, a cosy, eclectic restaurant filled with character. Every table had its own charm, and the walls were brimming with vintage treasures—each corner telling a different story. It felt like the kind of place where everyone belongs.

I was so taken by the warmth and whimsy of this restaurant that I’ve painted it several times from the photos I took during our visit. This piece is just one expression of my love for Chez Mémère, and I know there are many more paintings of it to come.

It’s a visual love letter to a place that made us feel at home, halfway across the world.
