Very intense ruby red, with violet hues. Typical scents of a Sicilian Syrah, such as intense hints of blackberry and cherry, with with a perfect fusion of spices, black pepper, liquorice and cloves. Juicy and full-bodied, it is smooth, elegant and very persistent in its charming fruitiness.

100% Syrah grapes grown in the hills of Sicily as well as the plains in clay and limestone soil.

The grapes that make this wine are harvested by organic farmers in Sicily. They are picked both by hand and mechanically. They are destemmed, softly crushed, then fermented for 14 days at 25- 26°C. The wine is kept in contact with the skins for 8 to 14 days. Malolactic fermentation happens thanks to a selected bacteria inoculation. The wine is then fined for 3 to 6 months in stainless steel tanks.

Taste: While the product doesn’t taste bad, preparing it as directed results in a very mild orange flavor. -as a drink I would prefer more flavor. Texture: The psyllium husk absorbs water extremely quickly—even in cold or room-temp water—which is just the nature of the ingredient itself. Because it starts to gel so fast, you have to chug it, and even then it can be difficult to get down. (I personally gag at it, but I have sensory issues) If the gel like texture is an issue for you, I found it more palatable mixed into food with water on the side. Texture aside, the product itself is highly effective. Mixability: It doesn’t always mix smoothly and tends to clump. Again nature of the ingredient not the brand. The powder is very fine and non-gritty perfect for other mixings. Side effects: I had uncomfortable bloating the first time (2 scoops/ full glass), I recommend starting with (1 scoop or less/full glass) Dont rush it. Increase it from there as you grow tolerance. You may feel very full. - it helped me eat less!
