Die X551 Expert for Metal (EfM) besitzt bei Metalloberflächen eine beeindruckende Materialabtragsrate. Das Schleifkorn (60er Körnung) aus zirkoniumoxidverstärktem Aluminiumoxid und Halbedelkorund ermöglicht auf Metall beste Materialabtragsraten bei hoher Lebensdauer. Zudem sorgt das äußerst robuste X-Gewebe als stabiler Träger für Haltbarkeit und gleichbleibend hohe Leistung bei schwierigen Oberflächen. Die Vollkunstharzklebung der Schleifkörner auf dem X-Gewebe gewährleistet optimales Schleifverhalten. Sie ist bestimmt für das Entgraten und Vorbereiten von Schweißarbeiten an Kohlenstoffstahl, Baustahl, Aluminium und anderen Nichteisenmetallen sowie Gusseisen. Sie eignet sich zudem ideal zum Entfernen von Verfärbungen, Ablagerungen und Oberflächenmängeln. Die X551 Expert for Metal ist mit Winkelschleifern kompatibel.
