Sliabh Liag Distillers haben mit The Legendary Dark Silkie einen mutigen Schritt gewagt, um Whiskygenießern mit einem neuen Produkt zu überraschen - einen reichhaltigen, rauchigen und getorften Irish Whiskey. Inspiriert vom typischen Donegal Whiskey-Stil aus vergangenen Tagen, haben die Sliabh Liag Distillers etwas Neues kreiert, nämlich die besten doppelt-destillierten Single Malts und dreifach-destillierten, in Sherryfässern gereiften Torf Single Malts mit weichem Getreide Whiskey geblended. Es wird irischer Torf verwendet, der eher auf Heidekraut, als auf Waldboden basiert mit dem Ergebnis, der verwendete Torf ist süßer und weniger eichenholzlastig als schottischer Torf. The Legendary Dark Silie ist das zweite Produkt in der Silkie Whiskey Collection.
