Eine Heckschraube entfaltet ihre optimale Wirkung nur, wenn sich der Propeller ausreichend tief unterhalb der Wasserlinie befindet. In einigen Fällen ist das wegen zu geringem Tiefgang der Yacht nicht zu realisieren, zumal die Heckschraubenanlage nicht bremsend unter dem Rumpf herausragen darf. Falls eine Heckschraube nicht genügend im Wasser eintaucht, wird der Propeller eine Menge Luft saugen, mit erheblichem Effizienzverlust als Konsequenz. Um die beiden Tunnelöffnungen tief genug unter die Wasserlinie zu führen hat VETUS jetzt einen Erweiterungssatz für alle Heckschrauben mit einem Tunneldurchmesser von Ø 150, 185, 250 oder 300 mm entwickelt.

Pretty but screws are the wrong size

I definitely like the look of my shelves with these brackets, but be careful with the provided anchors and screws. The big anchors that you screw into the wall - if they aren’t perfectly flat the bracket will wiggle. Also, the screws and anchors aren’t compatible so you either need to buy smaller anchors or bigger screws so will hold tight. Unfortunately we installed half before figuring that out, so I ended up getting some small L brackets for each side so my shelves would be stable.

We needed extra storage options in a very small space. These brackets are good quality, several anchor options were included and they look great. These are 8 in. brackets and wooden boards are 8 in. wide and we cut to desired length.
