In den 1980er Jahren zeigte die Künstlerin (*1950 in Galipolis, Ohio) ihre aufrüttelnden politischen Texte auf LED-Anzeigentafeln und Laufbändern in Flughäfen oder Sportstadien. Für ihre jüngeren Lichtarbeiten benutzt sie Xenon-Scheinwerfer, mit denen sich Schriftzüge auf jede Gebäudefläche, aber auch auf Plätze oder Flüsse projizieren lassen. Die Publikation dokumentiert einen Querschnitt aus Jenny Holzers Lichtkunst-Œuvre, für den die Künstlerin im Rahmen der Duisburger Akzente 2004 Textbotschaften aus ihren berühmten Arbeiten Truisms (1977-1979), Inflammatory Essays (1979-1982), Survival (1983-1985) und Mother and Child (1990) auf die monumentalen Stahlskulpturen des Hochofens im ehemaligen Thyssen-Hüttenwerk sowie auf weitere markante Architekturen der Duisburger Innenstadt projizierte. Nope. Returned.

These were returned because they were all wrong. Too short, too loose in the but but not loose enough to look like barrel jeans. Worst of all the color was not what was pictured. The wash and accent bleaching was so ugly. Also, they were too stretchy. I tried them on and walk around the house to see what I thought and they got too big after about 5 minutes.

These are nice trendy jeans but they weren’t as baggy as I anticipated. But I kept them anyways because they are a good quality Jean. You may want to size up for a baggier look.

I love Free People. But pretty pricey. These are as close as you can get. Material is medium heavy, but comfortable with detailing exactly like the original design. True to size. Great look and comfortable. A really fun and casual look.
