Der Rocca Rubia betört durch intensive, fruchtige Aromen (Heidelbeeren, Brombeeren) und würzigen Nuancen (Vanille Lakritze, Myrte, Leder). Am Gaumen wirkt er füllig, geschmeidig und von grosser Struktur und Länge.

- Vinifikation / Ausbau: Früher waren aus Carignano-Trauben gekelterte Weine farbintensiv und opulent. Was ihnen oft fehlte, waren Feinheit, präziser Ausdruck und ein Schliff, der aus einem rohen Stein ein Schmuckstück macht. Der Rocca Rubia ist ein geschliffener Edelstein. Dafür werden Trauben alter, wurzelechter Stöcke (franco di piede oder vigna latina) selektioniert, die im Buschsystem (alberello) erzogen sind. Der Ertrag ist gering. Der Saft wird während zweier Wochen in Inoxtanks vergoren. Anschliessend reift der Wein rund ein Jahr in französischen Barriques erster und zweiter Füllung.

My Aussiedoodle loves it. I throw it down the hallway, it bounces crazy, and he chases it. The only complaint is that he can't chew much of the ball part. So now I have to have it put away and brought out for special playtime.

Heavy chewer approved.

My pomsky will destroy a toy in minutes. Ropes, and the "indestructible" nylon type stuffs are no match for my furry shark. This ball has stood up to him like David. He loves the crunch and it is so much more tolerable than a squeaker. These will be a staple in his toy box - Chuckit toys are really the most durable dog toys I have found in three years.

Dogs love them

Our dogs love these. What’s great is that you can add more plastic (like from water bottles) if the plastic starts to fall out from the center. If you have a chewer, though, these won’t last you long. Our shepherd mix loves these and then starts to pull the rubber apart the more she plays with it. Our other dogs treat it normally, though, and those ones last forever. They also get some decent height when bounced, and they make a unique whistling noise when thrown.
